I had a busy weekend! This past Friday, was my day off of work from my “regular” job. I was asked to come photograph group photos for a family reunion in San Diego. Here are a few of the more candid photos I shot while the kids were playing.

On Sunday afternoon I photographed Shane’s 3rd birthday Party. If you remember, I also photographed Nickolas’ birthday party last December. He is friends with Shane, so it was great to see him 6 months later. I totally love photographing kids birthday parties. They are full of total cuteness!

Konkle Family

June 20, 2008

This past Sunday I photographed the Konkle family at a park near our house. It was an interesting day, as when I planned to meet them there I really didn’t think about it being Father’s Day. The park was ridiculously crowded. But then again when you live in the desert and the weather is nice, I guess everyone heads to the park for some greenery! So it was a challenging shoot to say the least. I was trying hard to keep people out of the background. Here are a few that I picked to show from the Father’s Day shoot. I hope you guys had a good father’s day!

Just had to share

June 17, 2008

So last night I’m going through photos I took of my cousin’s kid. I came across this one and just had to post it. I love the expression on his face.

Well technically Tyler and Jaime’s photos I posted earlier were the end of the day. But here’s just a few more photos from the last sessions I did on Saturday (sessions 5 and 6). Session #5 turned out to be a couple instead of a family. I love shooting couples and I got really excited when I figured out they wanted more of an urban feel to their photos. I’ve been looking for people that want those type of photos. Unfortunately there wasn’t “great” urban scenery where we were. But we did the best we could with what we had. Anyone who wants urban photos let me know…I’d love to go shoot more of this.

One last photo to end the series…a detail shot ( I love details)

As promised, more photos from this past Saturday in Santa Barbara. I guess this is technically sessions 3 and 4. Although Tyler, Jaime, and Foster’s session was kind of split up throughout the day. I had two other sessions, so I will try and get a few posted from those sessions tomorrow.

And One More…

For some reason I couldn’t get these to show up in the last post. It’s also from session 1.

Sessions 1 & 2

May 27, 2008

Saturday afternoon was totally a marathon photography day in Santa Barbara. Here are a few from sessions 1 & 2. More to come tomorrow! I promise! :)

Shelbert Family

May 25, 2008

This past weekend I had an awesome opportunity to shoot 6 or 7 mini sessions in Santa Barbara. But not only did I get shoot a ton of photos, but I got to see my cousin, his wife Jaime, and their son Foster. We always love going to see them. I have so many photos to go through and I will be posting more later. But for now here’s a few I took at the very end of the day of Tyler and Jaime, while Dave babysat Foster.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a little bit. Sorry it took so long! The holidays just snuck right up on me and it was a busier time then I anticipated. But now its back to reality. So I’m back to work and back to photography. Here is the slideshow for the Agvilar Famiily. Enjoy! More to come in a few weeks, I have a birthday party next weekend.
