What is Michele up to? Well I’m working on a complete blog update…a customized one that will provide bigger photos and a wider viewing area. I’ll post the link once I’m done, but its a work in progress. I’m also working on a new slideshow capability. Whoo Hoo! I love new things!

So it’s July and I saw some sign about Christmas in July the other day…which got me thinking about holiday season photos. So last year I was incredibly busy with photography before the holidays. This year I’m going to offer something new…Mini Sessions. Each session will be a half hour long, but I’m also going to have some guidelines to make things a bit easier on all of us.

1.There will be a deadline to book sessions with me

2.I will only book a limited numbe of sessions.

Holderman – Patton Wedding

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding in Norco, CA . Sarah and Brandon tied the knot at the Kindred Community Church on July 12th 2008. A friend and fellow photographer, Arielle, joined me for the entire day. They had great weather, although it was a bit hot, but it cooled off for the remainder of the evening. Here are a few of the photos I captured during the day.

I had a busy weekend! This past Friday, was my day off of work from my “regular” job. I was asked to come photograph group photos for a family reunion in San Diego. Here are a few of the more candid photos I shot while the kids were playing.

On Sunday afternoon I photographed Shane’s 3rd birthday Party. If you remember, I also photographed Nickolas’ birthday party last December. He is friends with Shane, so it was great to see him 6 months later. I totally love photographing kids birthday parties. They are full of total cuteness!

A Wedding During a Cali Heat Wave

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting with Jaime Lapeyrolerie of Beloved Photography. She was in need of a second shooter for the day, so I went down to the Glendora Country Club to give her a hand! It was a hot, but great day. Usually as I drive down the hill from Lancaster, the temps decrease. But I swear this weekend they went up as I drove down there. My car registered about 103 or so by the time I reached Glendora. So they say rain on your wedding day is good luck, hopefully heat waves are too! The wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It took place on hole number one and the bridal party drove golf carts in! The couple did an excellent job, especially with the flowers….lots of calla lilies!

Konkle Family

This past Sunday I photographed the Konkle family at a park near our house. It was an interesting day, as when I planned to meet them there I really didn’t think about it being Father’s Day. The park was ridiculously crowded. But then again when you live in the desert and the weather is nice, I guess everyone heads to the park for some greenery! So it was a challenging shoot to say the least. I was trying hard to keep people out of the background. Here are a few that I picked to show from the Father’s Day shoot.
